The Beaufort Women's Center (BWC), formerly the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Beaufort, is a non-profit, faith-based community organization supported by local churches, businesses, individuals and non-federal grants. BWC provides free and confidential pregnancy support services and education to its patients.
Led by various boards of directors through the years staffed mostly by a director and trained volunteers, BWC has provided services to over 9,000 women and girls from all socio-economic, racial, ethnic and educational backgrounds; including those who are single, married, separated and divorced.
Currently, the BWC is staffed by a paid full-time director and part-time office administrator, patient resources director, nurse manager and P.A.C.E. (Post-Abortion Client Education) director and volunteers serving as receptionists, parenting instructors and patient advocates. |
